60-seat XD Theater deployed in Happy Valley Tianjin
Triotech, a world leader in interactive attractions, is proud to announce the installation of a 60-seat XD Theater at Happy Valley, Tianjin in China.
It is the 9th such Triotech attraction to be installed in Happy Valley theme parks across the country. Happy Valley is part of the Overseas Chinese Town Group (OCT).
OCT and Happy Valley have installed several Triotech attractions over the years. The high THRC offered by the 60-seat XD Theater and its wide family appeal are key reasons OCT has made this attraction a key feature in several of its parks. Happy Valley Tianjin covers 200,000 square meters and features more than 30 attractions. The XD Theater is located in the “Viking Harbor” land and has opened in July 2021.

OCT Group, founded in 1985, is China’s largest theme park operator, welcoming more than 50 million of visitors per year. It operates and manages among others, eight Happy Valley theme parks, becoming the most powerful theme park group in the country.
Triotech’s immersive XD Theater features best-in-industry motion technology and offers a fully immersive experience by combining 3D stereoscopic movies with special effects. With a catalogue of more than 40 movies available, it offers operators the possibility to change the content on a regularly basis, inciting visitors to come back to live a new experience and thus maximizing repeat visits.
Triotech has deployed more than 50 attractions in China over the past few years across several segments from amusement parks to zoos, as well as stand-alone attractions. The company announced few months ago another major project with OCT Group: a double interactive walkthrough attraction in Fantasy Valley, Xiangyang.
